Now that the much awaited Fujifilm X-Pro 1 [check availability] production units finally reached a few lucky users, we can get a feel of what this camera can do in the real-world, outside the showrooms and launch pre-production units.

Fujifilm X-Pro 1 Real World Samples
The images below aren’t sorted or listed in any preferred order, so I’ll just wing it with an intro and summarize the photographers’ impressions. All the links are available at the bottom of this post.
The high ISO images of the Fuji X-Pro 1 is pretty intense. Max ISO at 25,600 produces really good images, comparable to ISO 1600 of DSLRs 3 years ago. It’s really stunning.

So what do you think of the Fuji X-Pro 1 mirrorless interchangeable camera? It’s a pricey piece of equipment but it was never meant to be a mass-market, use-it-for-work type of camera in the first place. It’s the first real competitor of the Leica in terms of looks and features, though the Leica, of course, is still in a class of it’s own.
